OUR RESPONSE TO COVID-19
SUNDAY MORNING GATHERINGS
"Moving Forward"
Our Continued Response to Covid-19
As many of you know, in recent weeks, we have had an increase of positive Covid-19 cases in our fellowship and throughout our region. We appreciate your understanding as we have chosen to go "live-stream only" the past several weeks. We are thankful to hear that most of the cases in our body have recovered with having only suffered mild cold-like symptoms. Regardless, we understand this is a very serious life-threatening virus and want to move forward with every precaution necessary. With that said, we will will be RESUMING our IN-PERSON SUNDAY SERVICES starting this Sunday, February 7th, with the following guidelines:
A FACE COVERING is required while you are entering/exiting the building or walking around of any kind. This includes all fellowship times, taking children to class or using the restroom. You may remove face covering only while standing or seated at your chair. Mask will be available at the welcome desk for those needing one.
SOCIAL DISTANCING and SEATING 6 FEET APART. We have the chairs spread out to make this easier.NO PHYSICAL CONTACT (i.e. hugging or shaking hands).STAY HOME if you have ill symptoms of ANY KIND or have been in contact with anyone who has symptoms. Many have disregarded their symptoms thinking it was "only a cold", later to test positive and find out they had put others at risk.
Out of love and concern for everyone attending our meetings, we will be strictly enforcing these guidelines for all persons entering our building until further stated. In addition to these precautions, we have installed 2 large commercial air scrubbers which have been running continually, and will continue to run in our building to purify the air. Additionally, we will continue to disinfect all hard surfaces before each meeting and have set up sanitation stations throughout the building.
Our efforts in safety will be most effective if all of us are in agreement and show our support by leading in example. None of us enjoy wearing a mask or not being able to hug our brothers and sisters; but even more should we not want to put those who are at-risk in danger. Our congregation, has suffered first-hand the severity of this virus, but as we safely move forward, let's walk in love and continue to trust our Maker and Sustainer who "made our frame and is mindful that we are dust" (psalm 103:14).

Instructions for Giving During Present Pandemic
During this crisis, our financial needs haven’t changed. We have been grateful for the giving hearts of our Cornerstone Family over the years. You have always been so faithful in your generous support. Remembering the Lord with your “first-fruits” is particularly important during times of difficulty. It demonstrates our dependence on the Lord as our source.
We also have a number of members who are financially challenged because of the decisions made by Governor Hogan and President Trump. We would like to have the resources to help “Cornerstone” members in need where-ever and when-ever possible. Please follow the Lord’s leading concerning giving.
Additionally, you can . . .
Give through texting. Text any amount to 84321 and follow the prompts. More instructions here.
Mail your tithes and offerings to Cornerstone Fellowship, 66 Waverley Drive, Suite 630, Frederick, MD., 21702. (it is best not to send cash in the mail)
Drop your gift off at the church. If the church is not open, please place you gift in an envelope and place in the mailbox. It will be checked daily.
Remember, this too shall pass. We will overcome this challenge by “the blood of the Lamb, the Word of our testimony and not loving our lives even unto death (Rev. 12:11).
“my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” Phil. 4:19
keep your head up,
