Let Me tell you something that you may not know. I have sequestered the enemy from attacking you, and you need to do nothing but stand on My Word. Anything you perceive as an enemy attack is subterfuge. There is nothing I would not do for you, child, because you are My ambassador for this generation to show forth My love, mercy, and patience. How can you do so if you constantly war against an immovable foe?
Though I am surrounded by troubles, you will protect me from the anger of my enemies. You reach out your hand, and the power of your right hand saves me. Psalm 138:7
You struggle so because you do not really know and believe what I have promised is for you. You can recite the promises and pray them over others, but you doubt I could have such bounty for you. The enemy has kept you down for so long, and you have grown weary in the fight, but do not give up now. Press in and believe; ALL things are possible for those who believe. It is not just a trite saying. My Name provides all the authority you need if you are in Me. Let the enemy know you are done and standing for Truth in every circumstance.
So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Galatians 6:9
I hear your thoughts now; you wonder why you haven’t seen any of the prayers you have prayed come to pass. I suggest you think again. Many have come to pass, and I have kept you from many snares and pitfalls you do not know about. There is a time for everything under heaven, and every prayer prayed in faith will come to pass. You have been with Me a long time and have seen things move in your favor. Perhaps recount them now as you wait for the coming manifestations of My promises.
Is his unfailing love gone forever? Have his promises permanently failed? Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he slammed the door on his compassion? And I said, “This is my fate; the Most High has turned his hand against me.” But then I recall all you have done, O Lord; I remember your wonderful deeds of long ago. They are constantly in my thoughts. I cannot stop thinking about your mighty works. Psalm 77:8-12
Hope in what was assured by Me for you, My beloved, is what I am asking of you. Do not allow the enemy to steal it from you. Even though David had the promise he would be king, he battled for many years against the enemy of his person, his mind, and his promise. You did not see him give up. David strengthened himself in the Lord, and he helped those in his company to stand when everything looked lost. David heard Me and believed me. This is what I am calling you to do. Amen.
When David and his men saw the ruins and realized what had happened to their families, they wept until they could weep no more. David’s two wives, Ahinoam from Jezreel and Abigail, the widow of Nabal from Carmel, were among those captured. David was now in great danger because all his men were very bitter about losing their sons and daughters, and they began to talk of stoning him. But David found strength in the LORD his God. Then he said to Abiathar the priest, “Bring me the ephod!” So Abiathar brought it. Then David asked the LORD, “Should I chase after this band of raiders? Will I catch them?” And the LORD told him, “Yes, go after them. You will surely recover everything that was taken from you!” 1 Samuel 30:3-8
