FORERUNNER LEADERS

In every move of God there was a leader. There will always be a leader that the Lord will use to lead His people. This will not be a leader chosen by men. This will not be a Saul, because Saul was the type of leader that the nation wanted, and the world acknowledge as a leader - handsome, tall and strong. Saul, although anointed by Samuel was a king given by God to the nation according to their fleshly desires. Therefore, Saul ruled also not from the spirit but from the flesh. It is seen in scripture that although God told Saul that He will take away Saul’s kingdom, Saul cling to it as if was his own. If only Saul would have let go of the kingdom there would have been a smooth transition between Saul and David, and Saul would most probably not have lost his live and the lives of his sons (1 Samuel 15).

The some will happen in the church when this last tribe will be released in the earth. There is people in the structure of the church that will find it very difficult to let go of the known and the “kingdoms they have built.” In this many leaders and churches has become a God to themselves. Instead they should have given that which God has placed in their hands, back to Him.

This attitude is symbolized by the twenty- four elders before the throne of God.

“Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanksgiving to Him who sits on the throne, to Him who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne, and they worship Him who lives forever and ever; and they throw down their crowns before the throne, saying, ‘Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they exist, and were created and brought into being.’”

Revelation 4:10-11 (English Standard Version Bible, 1971)

This attitude of a god to one-self has led to men’s will be done, instead of God’s will be done. That does not change the fact that these leaders and churches still believe in Jesus Christ, but unfortunately this wrong foundation leads to unfruitfulness in the things that is in God’s heart. Leadership within the Kingdom of God is different than in the world. In the Kingdom the aim to be a leader is a very shallow goal (Joyner, 2012). Being in God’s presence and being revealed as His son’s is the goal according to Romans 8 (The Holy Bible, 1987).

LEADERS POSITIONED WITH THE TWELVE LEADERS

This assignment is going to need leaders that will not build a golden calf like Aaron did while these leaders go up the mountain to get instructions to prepare the bride of Christ. Leadership around these people is going to be very important, because of the leadership around these forerunners do not understand the assignment, they will be building golden calves. If this happens it would be devastating to the bride of Christ. In this assignment the leaders have to run the race of a last tribe. How? By understanding what is the assignment! They can only run if they know what the assignment is! The leaders are around these people will bring in a harvest. A harvest that is plentiful. The Lord has called men and woman from the ends of the earth, and has positioned them for a time such as now. They have been called by God, just as Jeremiah has been called by God. He has chosen them and He has directed the steps to a certain physical position (e.g. city, church etc.) in order to assist in the fulfilment of the assignment. They have been prepared in the wilderness, many times in isolation in order to depend not on their own understanding, but only to trust with their whole being in the One that is the author and finisher of their faith.

They have been called out of all walks of life. They have been set very accurately and precisely in certain geographical areas on the earth. Every one of these leaders is necessary for the fulfilment of these assignment. These leaders should have such an understanding of the assignment is and what the message is that has been given to these forerunner leaders, that they speak in one accord. It will be an apostolic team effort, never one person. The relationship between these forerunners and those chosen leaders, is modelled by the relationship between David and Jonathan. This is how the body of Christ is supposed to act and look like. Jesus prayed, “Make them one, as we are one.” But, because the church or body of Christ is not build on one accord, but rather build on a person (e.g. pastor, preacher, bishop), it cannot portray “one accord”. Jesus say that the world will know Him by the way the body of Christ love another. This will also be one of the greatest “sign” that Jesus is in our midst, and that He is really the son of God.

This final tribe is going to usher in this truth once again. The result of this would be that the apostolic will be able to operate the way it was purpose to operate. And through the correct position of the fivefold on the proper foundation according to Ephesians 4, the image of Christ can be restored in a body of peo The foundation has always been the oneness, Jesus was one with His Father and He operate out of that oneness. When God chose someone to lead, He also choose those that can assist in the assignment. They will have to have a clear understanding of the assignment given by God, and not of the position that the forerunner leader walks in. The leaders that are chosen by God to assist the forerunners in the assignment, must be aligned in different ways, namely: Those that is called to run with these forerunners should know in which dimension this forerunner can “see”. They will be able to see in places where the rest of the leaders will not necessary have the ability to see at that particular moment. Everyone is called to see like Jeremiah sees, because it is in that where the Lord reveals His secrets. God’s desire is to be in relationship and to share His heart to His children. Most people want to do the right thing, but because we do not see “well” like Jeremiah, we do not necessarily do the right thing. Another aspect for leaders, walking alongside a forerunner that see in dimensions where others or they do not necessarily see, it is sometimes difficult. First of al it is important as leaders to know how to cover such a forerunner. Part of the assignment for the leaders around the forerunners is to cover their “back”, be with them and pray with them.

Another aspect is to be obedient to what is “seen” by such a forerunner. Because God has given them the ability to see well, better many times than the leaders that surround them, there can come conflict and alignment due to incorrect building. These leaders many times have to align themselves even if they do not understand. These situations are also many times a frustration to the forerunners, because of immaturity, stubbornness or opinions of those they have to lead. If these leaders that was chosen by God to assist in the assignment will have an understanding where these forerunners can “see”, then they can adjust their actions according, even if they do not understand. This might sound basic but to put it into practice is not so easy. To stand next to a leader of leaders is no small thing. Those that have to go into churches to announce an awakening, and to stand in their shadow the whole time is not always so easy if you are a leader yourself. That is a sacrifice that not many are willing to do.
