The following was posted on the “Heal the Land International” WhatsApp channel just a few days ago by Leon Fick who with his wife Salome serve as “HTL America” overseers. Salome had been here in America several times and the Lord uses her to bring emotional and spiritual healing to many. On Her last visit in 2023, she was instrumental in leading our Sheriff to the Lord. Leon and Salome live in South Africa. I felt that this is son on point with all we’ve been sharing the last several week.
“It is possible to experience God’s Presence Beyond What We Can Imagine
As believers we must constantly remind ourselves that through prayer and stillness, we experience more of God than we can ever dream or imagine.
Isaiah 46:9-10 says, “Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure.’”
God is not limited by time; He created it. He sees your past, your present, and your future all at once. Nothing surprises Him, and nothing happens without His knowledge. We worry about tomorrow, but He already stands there waiting for us. He is Almighty, All-knowing, and Ever-present.
And here’s the miracle - even though He is infinite, His presence can be experienced in time, right now, right here, in your heart.
Hebrews 11:1-3 tells us, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.”
Faith isn’t pretending that something is true; it’s awakening to what already exists in God’s reality. Everything you need - peace, healing, strength, wisdom - already exists in Him. Through faith, what is unseen becomes visible in your life. That’s how the fullness of God begins to flow through you.
But if God’s fullness lives in us, why do so few truly experience it? It’s because over time we build an image of ourselves - shaped by fear, failure, and what the world says about us - instead of the truth of who God says we are. Our thoughts follow this image as described in Romans 8:5-6: \
“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”
When our focus is on the natural world, we chase what is temporary. But when our minds are renewed by the Spirit, we begin to see through God’s eyes - we begin to understand that He already lives within us.
Jesus once said, “Follow Me, and let the
dead bury their own dead” (Matthew 8:22).
He was talking about spiritual death - living without knowing God personally.
Spiritual death isn’t the absence of breath; it’s the absence of divine awareness. In John 17:3, Jesus defined eternal life this way:
“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”
Eternal life begins the moment we truly know Him, not just know about Him. That’s why Jesus came - to restore what was lost in Eden: our awareness of God’s presence.
Second Timothy 1:9 - 10 says, “God has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.”
Through His death and resurrection, Jesus removed our sin-consciousness and restored our God-consciousness. You can live today with the awareness that God lives in you - not as a distant deity, but as your very life and breath.
Ephesians 4:6 declares, “One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all,” and Acts 17:28 adds, “In Him we live and move and have our being.” You are not separated from God. He is not a concept, not a feeling you chase, not a statue in a church - He is your essence, your heartbeat, your peace, your power.
Many of us still see ourselves as broken or unworthy, but God doesn’t see us that way. He sees us in Christ - holy, redeemed, and full of purpose. “But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God - and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.” (1 Corinthians 1:30).
his is who you really are. You are not a failure trying to reach God; you are a vessel already filled with His fullness.
Paul prayed a beautiful prayer in Ephesians 3:16-19, and it’s one we can pray for ourselves today:
“That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”
That’s my prayer for you - that you won’t just know about God, but that you will truly experience Him, within you, around you, and through you.
Because Ephesians 3:20 reminds us,
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us…” That power is already alive and working inside of you.
So let’s take a moment to pray.
”Father, thank You that Your fullness already lives in me.
Strengthen my inner being with Your Spirit.
Let Christ dwell in my heart by faith.
Fill me with Your love until I overflow with Your presence.
Help me to see myself as You see me - holy, loved, and full of Your life.
Do in me far more than I can ask or imagine, through Your power at work within me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Always, remember this - you don’t need to reach out to find God; He’s already within you. And as you pray, rest, and grow before Him, His presence will become more real than anything you’ve ever known.
You carry the fullness of God. Live from that truth… and watch your world change.
Love and blessings, Leon
