Change is always extremely difficult for some but exciting for others. I have gone through both emotions since we started sharing a facility with Divergent Church in the FSK Mall. However, I would say that the positives have definitely out-weighed the negatives. I think most would agree.

Moving our services back to Sunday afternoon has been awesome as it allows most people to ability to attend where Friday night just wasn’t possible. The atmosphere in the place has felt like “Cornerstone” again. There has been a wonderful presence of the Lord in each of the first few services. Everyone feels excited about our future. Those who weren’t able to attend before have started to migrate back. It’s been awesome!

This Sunday, Cheryl and I will still be in Florida caring for Cheryl’s Mom who is in rehab after falling a 2nd time in 7 months and breaking a hip. She has been through the grinder but is hanging in there at 90 years of age. She had surgery to fix the hip that left her one leg 2” shorter than the other. Pray that the Lord would open a place for her in a “long-term” care facility once she’s finished in rehab. Nothing is available right now, but, all things are possible with the Lord.

My earthly father had a dislocated hip from birth. My grandmother was a very petite woman and my father was 13lbs at birth. He was her last (no kidding). The Doctor had to break his collar bone to allow him to come through the birthing canal. What was not discovered until much later in his life was the fact that his right hip had also been dislocated in the birthing process. He went to an orthopedic surgeon to discover why he was always in pain. He had surgery to repair the hip that left his right leg 2” shorter than his left one. The end result? My father walked with a limp. People have always asked me if I injured my hip because I tend to walk with a limp too. My response “my father taught me how to walk”. Both in the natural and spiritual.

In Genesis, Jacob decides to send a parade of gifts to Esau to win him over before they meet. But before his confrontation with Esau, Jacob sets up camp for the night. Without warning, an unnamed man starts to wrestle with him (32:24). Slowly it is revealed that this unnamed man wrestling with Jacob is actually God. Jacob is left with a dislocated hip and would walk with a limp for the rest of his life. It seems before any of us can truly walk in God’s purpose for our lives, we all wrestle with the Lord at some point to such a degree that we are never the same again. We walk with imps reminding us continually of both God’s grace and purposes in our lives.

Sam and Ana Nunez will be facilitating the service this week. Sam has invited some of the worship team from their “Table of Showbread” ministry. So, our team except for Lee is getting a little break. Sam and Ana share the same heart as Cheryl and I; to see unity in the body and a state and national spiritual awakening. By unity, I mean a John 17 unity, not just an ecumenical unity. They both are outstanding communicators who feel the leading of the Lord to be a part of Cornerstone to see this move of God manifest into reality. The Nunez’s are the real deal. The Lord has knit their hearts with ours very quickly. How? The also walk with a limp. You might want to arrive a bit early as seats seem to be at a premium!

Pastor James from Divergent has been an incredible in welcoming us. He tells me repeatedly of how happy he is that we’re sharing the space with them. Jesus is up to something big! By the way, Pastor James also walks with a limp!!

Please continue to pray for our nation and that nothing will be able to stop the truth from being revealed. We believe that the RV (global currency revaluation) is right around the corner. Once that takes place, we will be able to walk fully into our inheritance and what God as called us too.

Pray for Cheryl and I as we travel home next week. We will leave on Friday, March 15th and be home on the 16th. We love you all and can’t wait to see you.

We are living in incredible days. The best is yet to come!! Lets lean on Jesus and one another as we limp along together!!
